Information on Credit Repair
Disclaimer: Please do not call our office asking about credit repair. If you apply for a mortgage loan and we can't get you apporved then we may suggest you look into a credit repair company to improve your scores. Credit Repair is not the solution for everyone and we urge everyone to weigh their options and decide what is best for their situation.
Credit Repair Program
The information below is only meant as a general guide. Each borrower should weigh all of their options and make a decision based on their own needs and situation.
The credit repair business we work with has been in business for over 10 years, and they are licensed and registered with the Secretary of State and bonded with a surety bond company. The program is a max of 6 months long, and the average increase in points is 80-100 points within 180 days.
We've seen over 200 point increases and we've seen less than 80, it really just depends on how far you need to go. But they are usually able to get your scores in the high 600's to low-mid 700's within 6 months. The current deletion rate is 70-93% of all derogatory items on the credit report, and all of the results are permanent.
A different kind of Credit Repair
- Not a Quick Fix Company
- Permanent Results
- Works with Individual Creditors and Collection Agencies Directly
Quick Fix Credit Repair?
Quick Fix Credit Repair Companies do something you could easily do yourself, an online dispute to the credit bureaus or a simple form letter to the credit bureaus. This is done over and over with little to no permanent results. What happens when an item is deleted and 30, 60, or 90 days later the individual “creditor” or “collection agency” re-reports the information??? It’s right back on the credit report. This is what we call a quick fix.
The Process
- Audit selected items with credit bureaus
- Re-Investigate items on credit bureau level and ask for method of their investigation
- Validation of Debt (VOD) with creditor
- Revised Validation of Debt
- Negotiate Settlement (if necessary)
Disclaimer: Not every borrower will get approved after Credit Repair alone. It depends on your individual situation and your credit history.
